Bee Cave Farmers Market

As someone born in Austin and raised in Bee Cave, this project is near and dear to me because I have witnessed the growth of this area over the years. I've seen Bee Cave turn towards commercial corporate development, which leaves little support for the creative native businesses that make the Hill Country so unique. The changes in the community concerned me. There was no common place for citizens to share and call our own. Having literally grown up on the physical location of this Market, I was inspired to create a setting where people can come to enjoy themselves while supporting inherent businesses.

The Bee Cave Farmers Market was conceived with the vision of providing a weekly community-spirited event for area residents and visitors. The Market provides a place to gather socially as well as regenerate the town center, invigorate secondary shopping areas, and educate guests about locally grown foods while supporting local artisans. The Bee Cave Farmers Market unites a perfect location with just the right balance of products, including produce, fresh flowers, jewelry, homemade food items, skin and body care products, and a variety of handmade crafts.
